Effects of Various Sintering Conditions on the Structural and Magnetic Properties of Zinc Ferrite (ZnFe2O4)

چکیده
Zinc ferrite (ZnFe2O4) nanoparticles have attracted the attention of researchers because their unique chemical properties and particle-size-dependent magnetic properties. High-surface-area spinel ferrites numerous technical applications in areas such as high-density information storage, ferrofluids, catalysis. The coprecipitation technique is preferred method for preparing nanoscale ZnFe2O4 it results a small crystals with uniform size distribution. In this study, synthesis was conducted solution 48 h, followed by sintering at 1000°C 1.5–3.5 h. smallest (70.58 nm) were found sample sintered 2.5 Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) functional-group analysis confirmed presence Fe–O Zn–O bonds cations octahedral tetrahedral sites. 3.5 h superparamagnetic. characterization suggest that obtained could be used nanofluid heat exchangers.
